I’ve been thinking about making a change. So, what else is new, you ask? š If you know me, you know I’m always open to change. I’m not just thinking about it, I’m making one shortly. More details in the months to come.
Thinking About Making A Change?
When musing today about making a change, I began to wonder why I find it easy to accept change. Perhaps the fact that my family was almost constantly on the move because of my Dad’s military career, allowed me to be flexible. But I think it’s more than that. Some of us are wired that way.
Looking around on my walk today, I wonder why we humans resist change, when it is such a beautiful part of Nature and of growth.
As the season changes from summer to the monsoons in India, I see new leaves starting to come. For a while they happily co-exist with the old ones and the old ones dry up. The cycle of growth continues.
How open are you to change?

I love this encouragement to reach toward our goals, but not from a place of judgment and lack, but from a heart that craves adventure and the next right thing!
I am always in doldrums about change but I love new adventures too. We, humans, want it all.Its not easy but change is needed.
I embrace change . In fact I relish it . Perhaps it could be frequent transfers while growing up ? But that certainly helps.
I am open to change but I will have the starting problem. If I plan properly, I love the change. But if I have to change something unexpectedly, I resist.
I am a restless soul who craves change. I love to try out new things, meet new people, change the furniture around. Sometimes though, I wish I could just enjoy what is.
You know Corinne the ironic thing is, the only thing constant in our life is change. yet we humans resist it. We are changing everyday by growing older, yet we resist it. I have seen so much change thanks to be being part of the armed forces fraternity, that I have more or less become immune to any form of change now.
Agree, changes are part of life and we should try to accept it with an open heart and an open mind. changes make our life adventurous and taught us so many valuable life lessons.
Change makes our lives interesting. Otherwise it would be so monotonous and just routine. The unexpected gives us a chance to grow.
Change is difficult for me. But from experience I know that adapting to a change isn’t as hard as I think of it. I have another change lined up for me and I’m extremely wary about it. Hope all goes well.
