Every bit of kindness you give yourself – from buying the more expensive coffee or lotion you love, to cutting yourself slack about mistakes, to saying “no” to breaking a bad habit – is a brick in the foundation of self-love. Building it increases confidence. Loving yourself also makes you more attractive. ~ Daylle Deanna Schwartz
An oft-repeated theme of Everyday Gyaan is the need for each of us to begin the process of loving ourselves, if we don’t already. I have often shared with you my own journey towards starting to love myself. I am happy to tell you that I have been chosen to be a Self-Love Ambassador by Daylle Deanna Schwartz of The Self-Love Movement.
What better time to start loving yourself than in the New Year? January is Self-Love month. Daylle has been very generous in offering her book ‘How Do I Love me? Let Me Count The Ways’ FREE. Click on the picture below to get your FREE copy today.
I invite you to take the Self-Love Pledge to commit yourself to begin 2013 with 31 days of being kind to YOUrself.
“I commit to do my best to do something loving for myself, however big or small, for the first 31 days of 2013.”
Sign up here to take the pledge.
I do hope the 31 days will just be the start of a lifetime habit of loving yourself.
Thank you, Corrine! I am now ready for this! 2013 is my year!

We can’t love others if we don’t first love ourselves, knowing how much God loves us just as we are. What a great idea for improving our well-being in 2013!
Merry Christmas, Corinne!

Congratulations Corinne – you so well deserve it 🙂
It isn’t easy to love oneself, especially when we have kid’s and a family around us. But yes, it has to start and we need to start taking care of ourselves first, so that we are able to love them more – so it’s a great reminder for me. Thanks for the book as well 🙂
Wishing you a Merry Christmas as well 🙂

What a wonderful idea!!
Pledged and will follow it from Today!!
Thanks for sharing and wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas!! 🙂
I didn’t have self-love when I was a lot younger. Not that I perfectly love myself now, but it gets better each day as I am learning to accept myself for who I am and forgiving myself for my own shortcomings.
Thank you for this wonderful reminder, Corinne! What beautiful gift to give ourselves this Christmas — self-love. ❤
Take care and God bless! 🙂

Hi Corinne,
What a lovely gesture to offer this for free! Self-love is so important and all of us can do with applying love to ourselves. Indeed, we need to love and like ourselves first before we can do the same with others. I’m going over to get a copy now… Thank you.
Merry Christmas! 🙂

Hi Corinne,
Love this idea. Many of us have gotten the wrong message when it comes to loving ourselves. So I will totally commit to doing random acts of self-love for the first 31 days and beyond of 2013.

I think this is a wonderful idea and I should perhaps begin looking at ‘breaking old habits ‘ and ‘procrastination’ ;)…I have downloaded the free ebook and will start reading while I have plenty of time 🙂
Thanks BS.

HI Corinne
Thanks for this. We start but forget this after sometime. It has to be consistently practiced, loving ourselves is really very difficult but somewhere it has to start.
Thanks for sharing this great piece of information

How exciting! What a great focus for January. Without self-love how can we possible truly love others? When we discover self-love ultimately the barriers between us and others drop and it just become love.

Oh no, you mean people don’t already love themselves! That’s horrible Corinne! Looks like you are on the right track then being an ambassador for self love. That’s so cool and you’re going to help so many people.
I’m so excited for you and I know that everyone really appreciates you sharing this book with your readers. I hope everyone will read it and get on the self love train with this new year. Trust me, they won’t regret that decision.
