#2 – It’s All about Energy
#3 – Intuition Is the Magic Wand
#4 – Your Belief and Your Story Do Not Define You and Can Be Changed

My views: Although the book is dealing with what might be considered dry reading by some, I found it very readable. The book is broken into bite sized chunks, with small exercises thrown in to make it practical. It’s full of anecdotes, both personal and from the lives of others, that go to show the power of manifestation at work. Since I already believe in the power of manifestation, I didn’t need to read the book to be sold on the idea, but I found it was a good reinforcement of what I already believe in.
I received the book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
This post is written for the letter for the letter ‘M” for the Blogging From A to Z April Challenge 2014. José and I are taking part in the challenge on From 7Eight as well.
Isn’t it always good to be reminded of that which already resonates, even if just to reaffirm. Good sensible advice and a timely reminder. Thank you for sharing this Corinne.

It sounds like a book I would skim through and get much from. If something is too “dry” I have the tendency to do that. Knowing that I am scatterbrained that way, I tend to take notes to further embed what I have read into my noggin. Reaffirming what you already know is never a bad thing. Very helpful review. ♥

Hope so! Thanks for the review, Corinne. 🙂

Didn’t quite get the principle of the book…what do they mean by manifesting? The values seem pretty relevant and I have read similar books too but didn’t quite get the manifest part!

I love this principle of Manifestation. In fact, The Secret from Rhonda Byrne also talks about visualization of your goal and similarly also says Thoughts+Intention (visualize in your mind that intention becoming your reality) = Reality. I must check this book, definitely! 🙂
Thanks for sharing about it Corinne 🙂 ♥

Esp about Energy.. people say that I’m overthinking things when I talk about positive and negative energy around us. Thank you Corinne for reinforcing my belief. 🙂

Thanks for another great review and introducing me to this self-help book. The Artist’s Way, influenced me tremendously, thanks for referring the book. I liked the 8 principles mentioned here and would love to read this book to know more.
errr i know this book aint my cup of tea.. I will wait for the tiny chunks of wisdom that I anyway get from U 😀
This reminds me of that post on manifestation that Vidya wrote not too long ago. I never really knew about the concept or the term, but I guess I have been unconsciously following it for a while now, more so in the last 4 or 5 years. It is especially healing for me, on the personal and domestic front.
Thanks for the review, Corinne.

‘Intuition Is the Magic Wand’ I so agree! I believe in the power of manifestation and try my bit to do my bit! But sometimes you perhaps need a book like this for that reminder! Great review!

Corinne, you know I am a big believer of manifesting. Years ago, when my Mom talked about it, I used to smirk. But personal experience is a great leveler. And I’ve been blessed with lots and lots of proof once I opened my mind.
I must try and get this book – endorsement of something we love is always a great feeling!
