Today, we wait for word
Of a loved one’s imminent passing
I sit here wordless and wonder:
What will I write today?
What thoughts will I share?
More and more I realize
The frailty of life.
‘Let it be’ is what I hear.
Deep within me.
Let It Be
The call to make peace
With wounds and hurts
To move forward
With no regrets
To not stress
Over things that don’t matter.
Let it be.
The call to acceptance
Of things we cannot change
The call to let go
Of competition and comparison
The call to kindness and compassion
And a letting go of cynicism.
The call to be.
“Enjoy the little things”, it says,
“Stop and stare
Close your eyes
Feel the breeze on your face
Take deep breaths
Laugh loudly
Sing in the shower
Cry your heart out
Love until it hurts
Just be.”

Oh how I needed to hear this today…You know I have come to believe that somehow the universe kinda knows what you need to hear and sends it right up to you. This is one such post. Thanks for sharing corinne. Hugs. I feel your pain.
yeah.. what can we say? Let it be. Enjoy the present as we are unsure of the future. “Forget, forgive and move on” if we can implement that.
There is only so much we can do. Wise to accept and let it be. ❤️
When something like this happen, the nature gives you the strength to bear it. But don’t stop living because of it. Life teaches you to live fully, to enjoy the little things in life, rejoice in nature and appreciate the fact that you are still breathing while many are not. Hugs Corinne!
This is just perfect! Beautifully perfect!
Let it be is a good mantra, isn’t it? There’s much we have no control over; best to accept it.
I feel the loss, the pain of losing a loved one and the helpless associated with it. Yet all I can do is wait for time to heal it and let it be. This one touched my heart.
Let it be always reminds me of the Beatles number – which is full of good advice and wisdom. Let it be is one of my favourite mantras. Your opening lines were very touching. Hugs.
Wise words Corinne . Often there is nothing one can do to stop things from happening . Letting it be is the best way forward.
Some days just letting be is all that we need to do, no matter how difficult it seems to the near and dear ones. I can feel the sense of loss as I read between the lines. Hugs, Corinne. All I can tell you is that this too shall pass!
That is the only thing to do–the right thing to do–to just let it be! What good will it do stressing over what is not in our control?
