I’m blogging through Julie Hester ‘s 7 Days of Gratitude with the prompts suggested by her. Today I’m focusing on gratitude for God’s good gifts.
Gratitude For God’s Good Gifts
Meister Eckhart wrote:
“If the only prayer you said was thank you, that would be enough.”
Write a simple thank you prayer to God. Start each line with “Thank you God for…”

Thank you God for all your good gifts
Those that I remember to thank you for
And those that I take for granted.
Thank you for light and laughter
For darkness and tears
Your love brings meaning to my days
And your grace helps me
Push through the chains of anger, fear and wilfullness
Thank you for your constant presence
Through the ups and downs of my life
To know that I am loved and cherished by You
Is what I’m most grateful for.
Amen.

Absolutely beautiful. We should have so many reasons to be grateful and thankful. I need to practise a Gratitude Journal. Have a lovely day, Corinne:)
