Yes, it’s two days away – the end of 2017. Goodbye 2017!
Goodbye 2017
Goodbye 2017
You made me laugh, you made me cry,
You made me happy, you made me sad
There were times I thought I was going mad.
But I know I stood tall when times were bad.
Goodbye 2017
You made me grow
Now it’s time to for you to go…
I’ll look back at you
Knowing you were a year of great loss
But also a year when I became the boss
Of myself and followed my heart.
#FridayReflections
If you are new to Friday Reflections, here’s what it’s about. It’s the end of the week, you’re probably exhausted with work, and all you want to do is sit back, put your feet up, sip on some fancy cocktail or wine, and write away.
Sanch Vee and yours truly give you one writing prompt a week to blog about and link to every Friday. The link will be open till the Monday. After you link up, be sure to spread the love by visiting other bloggers who have linked in too.
This week’s prompt is : Looking back on 2017

With this Friday Reflections post it’s also goodbye to my dear co-host, Sanch Vee who has decided to opt out of hosting this. I’m forever grateful to her for carrying on with minimum support from me. Sanch, you’re a star – good luck with your plans.
I’m very happy to announce the new co-host from next year – that Kohl Eyed bundle of energy – Shalini Nair!

I know that 2017 was hard for you, dear Corinne. I also know that you are brave and strong. Here’s to a very happy 2018! Thank you so much for the opportunity to co-host Friday Reflections with you. I will do my best 🙂
Aww thanks for the shout-out. It was a lot of fun co-hosting and I’m sure Shalini will be even better! 😀
While I know 2017 was not an easy year for you, I’m glad you were able to follow your heart and be your own boss. I know how you manage to find something to be grateful for even in the toughest of times. I hope 2018 is good for you!
Will continue to link up when possible, of course.
It was sure a tough year for you Corinne with loss in family but it offers us strength plus ample scope for growth. Here wishing you an extraordinary 2018 and have decided to bury everything, be it success or failure, personally. A brand new season like re-birth 🙂
You have summed up my 2017 way better than even I could, Corinne 🙂
We’ve struggled through it, yet risen stronger and wiser. I’m happy for you that you could follow your heart.
PS: Shalini, I am sure you will do a fab job at being a co-host 🙂
2017 was a tough year, but as you say, you became the boss! In spite of everything, you took the time to write, to push us to write, to be your wonderful self. No matter what this year brings, I’m sure you will be on top of it all!
Sanch, thank you for doing a great job with some excellent prompts. Shalz, best wishes to be the co-host.
