Hello April! Another month to learn and grow. Another chance to discover life. And for this I am grateful.
And For This I Am Grateful
At the start of 2019, I added a daily gratitude practice to my ‘habit tracker’ on my Bullet Journal. I chose to think of three things that I am grateful for at the end of each day.
When Nicole Thomas very kindly sent me a copy of And For This I Am Grateful, I began to use it to write down my daily gratitudes. This gratitude journal is like a simple ruled note book, and serves the purpose just fine for me.
Gratitude is something people often take for granted. You may not believe you have time to reflection on all the things you are grateful for. With And For This I Am Grateful, you will discover just how important gratitude can be. By taking a few moments every day to think about the things you treasure in your life, you can understand what truly matters in this world.

Thinking back on March, I am grateful for good health, given the ‘flu episodes of January and February. We’ve had our ups and downs – more like small nuisances – but overall we’re doing well.
Both Jose and I had a good financial year and were able to send our tax returns off in time. I hope to be better organized this year and looking forward to registering The Frangipani Creative (TFC)as a financial entity.
I’m grateful too for making some good connections – bloggers who’ve become friends. Was also happy to host a small meeting of Bloggers Of Hyderabad at TFC. More about them in another post.
I’m grateful for March and welcome April with joy!

I have been writing a gratitude journal (with pen and paper) since last three years and it helps me stay positive in LIfe. All the best to frangipani creative. I saw pictures of the Hyderabad blogger’s meet. Host something similar in Mumbai also. Looking forward to meet you soon.
Good to know, Balaka. Thank you and yes, we’ll have something there soon.
yippeeee!!!!!!
I have a gratitude journal to write daily in it but then I forget the writing part. I still say my gratitude prayers first day in the morning and at night before bedtime. Expressing gratitude is a habit I first learnt at Everyday Gyaan and it is continuing and for good.
All the best for the The Frangipani Creative’s new ventures. I have never attended a bloggers’ meet so I am curious to read what happened at the bloggers meet at TFC.
I like the sound of it -TFC 🙂
As long as we’re grateful, Anamika! We all have different ways of making it work.
I meant to do a blog post about our meeting. We’re having one this weekend, so I think I better hurry up and get one out before that!
I love that name, The Frangipani Creative, and the images it invokes. I’m almost never able to make it to get-togethers mostly because I’m caught up with a hundred things but a blogger meet up sounds fun. Since last year I’ve started linking up with Vidya’s Circle regularly. I enjoy viewing my month in perspective and it never seems too bad. Touch wood to that! I need to make it a daily habit.
Thanks, Tulika. I went through several names before I hit upon this one!
I’m consciously trying to make it for get-togethers – as I tend to be happy not to mix! 😉
Yes, gratitude has a way of sneaking up on you and becoming a great habit!
It’s always lovely when bloggers become friends! I’m sorry I’ve been missing from your space but it’s good to be back. I have been using a Gratitude app on my phone to list at least 3 things each night that I’m grateful for. Hope you have a fantastic April!
Yes, and it seems like you got to meet many of these friends on your recent visit, Sanchie. Hopefully we can meet on your next visit!
I tried the app but it didn’t seem to work for me.
I hope you are having a great month so far!
It’s a been a few years since I made Gratitude a habit and it has helped me stay positive and be grateful for small things in life. I love those colors on your IG post. So spring. Good to know about your health and that it’s better. Wishing you a lovely April, Corinne.
Thanks, Parul. I love your gratitude posts. They are so You!
Yeah it was great meeting you and others in the blogger’s meet. Looking forward to the next one.
I too have been practicing gratitude for some time now and it does have a positive effect on how I take things now.
It was such a pleasure, Jyothi. Looking forward to meeting you again this weekend.
And yes, gratitude can truly change our perspective.
All it takes is a simple “Thank you”, to the Universe and it uplifts your mood instantly! I give thanks for everything I have in life, for everything that happens –good or bad–and for all that I learn from it.
I love the name The Frangipani Creative, because Frangipani is a favourite flower! 🙂
Oh yes, gratitude is a huge mood changer, Shilpa.
Frangipani – it’s been a part of Everyday Gyaan too, so this name is a natural extension! 🙂
